Chaz Mostert's move to Walkinshaw Andretti United (WAU) is finally official, with the Bathurst champion confirming the news this morning.
The 27-year-old has signed a multi-year deal with WAU that will see him behind the wheel of one the team's two Commodores.
Mostert, whose 13 victories include the 2014 Bathurst 1000, says he can't wait to join his new team, as he switches from Ford to Holden.
"I'm super excited to be joining the Walkinshaw Andretti United family, it's going to be full of new challenges and for me and at this stage of my career I'm excited for some change," Mostert said in a statement.

The move hardly comes as a shock, with Mostert's Tickford Racing mechanics jokingly taping the driver to a tyre trolley after Sunday's race in Newcastle, and wheeling him down to the WAU garage.
"There is no doubt Chaz is one of the top drivers in the Supercars Championship, so to have him join our Team is extremely exciting, and a testament to the direction we are headed," team boss Ryan Walkinshaw said.
