Parramatta half-back Mitchell Moses has implored Eels officials to re-sign boom five-eighth Dylan Brown immediately amid reports the teenager is set to meet with multiple NRL rivals.

Brown comes off contract at the end of next season and is a man in demand after an impressive, albeit injury-interrupted, debut season.

The 19-year-old was the story of the competition after starring in the Eels’ opening three games before he was sidelined by a back injury for three months.

He returned in Round 15, starting in 12 games as the Eels made it to the second week of the NRL finals.

“If I was Parramatta I’d be signing him tomorrow.

“I think all the reports, I don’t think it’s come out of Dylan’s mouth that he wants to explore his options, I think it’s all come out from the media and things like that.

“And you know what, he’s got to expect it. It’s all part of the job, it’s just how he handles himself and I think he’s doing alright at the moment and hopefully Parramatta get it done.”

Brown was accused of being a mercenary when he declared he ‘always wanted to be a millionaire’ early last season.

“I feel like I play my best footy with him and I feel like he plays his best footy when I’m helping him out as well.

“I feel like we work very well with each other but I’ve been there, done that. It’s all about handling yourself and how you go about yourself and I’ll definitely give him some advice.”
