The Toronto Wolfpack forward said he was relieved to get his first fight over and done with.
"I've gone through every scenario in my head about a thousand times over the last couple of weeks but I'm glad I got it done early," Lussick said.
The 30-year-old then potentially set the wheels in motion for another high-profile bout, calling out former AFL star Barry Hall.
"Well I heard Barry Hall is looking for a fight," Lussick said.
"I'm free if he wants to fight."
Hall recently made his professional debut, fighting out an exciting draw with Paul Gallen last month, winning plenty of admirers in the process.
As for the 37-year-old Hodges, his record slips to 2-1.
He had made clear his hopes for a future fight with Gallen, though that now looks unlikely after Lussick lowered his colours in stunning fashion.
