Wests Tigers coach Ivan Cleary has given the strongest indication the club would chase Penrith captain Matt Moylan if he became available. The 25-year-old will sit out the finals series for personal reasons with Panthers general manager Phil Gould declaring Moylan needed time away from the game.

CEO Justin Pascoe has revealed having no contact with Mitchell or his manager since withdrawing a rich contract offer for the Kangaroos centre last month.

While it was believed the club had left the door ajar to reopen negotiations with Mitchell, Pascoe said there is no offer on the table, despite being in the market for a strike player.
