There was a peculiar moment during the one-day international between India and Australia with a kite causing a brief delay before the end of the home team's innings.

India is currently celebrating the Festival of Kites, and in Mumbai with the scores locked at 9/255 at the end of the 49th over, following Kuldeep Yadav's dismissal for 17 runs, play was momentarily stopped when a purple and orange kite fell onto the field.

The kite was picked up by Australia's David Warner who was then shown on the broadcast speaking to the umpire and pointing at the sky.
