A ready-made defender option who should feature early in the season.

Many observers thought Sydney got him cheap with pick 26 and he may prove to be a Supercoach bargain too.

Big-bodied but also capable of bringing the ball out of the backline. He's in the early iterations of our team.

The Victorian got to the Giants with pick four and looks set to add to the club's stocks of rebounding defenders.

If Zac Williams and Lachie Whitfield continue in their roles further up the field, it could open the door for Ash.

Samsung's new TVs got some upgraded smarts as well, like the ability to control home devices and a multi-view feature that offers 14 possible configurations. Though at his price, he'll have to impress in pre-season to get a spot in our side.

  • 4 Stephen Hill (DEF/FWD) - $190,600

He's not a rookie but he is priced like one.

The 29-year-old Dockers speedster is coming off the back of two injury-hit seasons.

If he can get his body right and get back to near his best (averaged 95+ in 2014 and 2015) he might be the buy of the season.

  • 5 Dylan Stephens (MID) - $189,300

Proved to be a bolter when the Swans picked him at five so they obviously have high hopes for him.

Generally deployed on a wing, the South Australian should provide some of the outside run the Swans desperately need.

Still lightly framed, he's no guarantee to be in John Longmire's team from round one, so keep an eye on him in the JLT.

  • 6 Matt Rowell (MID) - $207,300

He's certainly an expensive rookie but that price might look cheap if the ball magnet takes to AFL like most expect.

The man who debuted and almost won the Norm Smith Medal in the Tigers' grand final triumph gets his first crack at a full AFL season.

Showed all the poise and skill required to succeed at the level and gets in well under the weights.

If he finds himself in the best 22, which you'd have to think he will, he should be a lock.

  • 8 Mitch Hibberd (MID) - $114,400

The big-bodied midfielder was picked up as a rookie after impressing with Williamstown last season.

AFL experienced following a stint at North Melbourne, Hibberd should add some steel to the Bombers' midfield.

Gets in at a price that makes him hard to ignore.

  • 9 Tom Green (MID) - $166,800

Some recruiters likened the Giants Academy product to Patrick Cripps so it was a surprise to see him slip to pick 10.

Inside ball-winner who will definitely be in the mix for games early, though GWS have plenty of quality players in that area.

The number three pick went to the Dees in what was a slight surprise given Max Gawn and Brayden Preuss are both at the club.

Likely to be down the pecking order for a ruck spot for a little while yet.

Could potentially play forward but even then there's competition from Tom McDonald and Sam Weideman.

  • 11 Noah Anderson (MID/FWD) - $202,800

a person in a red shirt © Provided by Sporting News

The number two pick ended up at Gold Coast alongside best mate Rowell and they look set to form quite the combination.

A big-bodied midfielder who can also go forward, Anderson isn't expected to be as prolific as Rowell though the wraps on him are still pretty big.

His role in the side and place in the best 22 is less assured so keep an eye on the Suns in pre-season.

  • 12 Nakia Cockatoo (MID/FWD) - $148,200

Another experienced player who is priced like a rookie after struggles with injury.

Didn't play a game in 2019 and featured just twice the season before - a record that's sure to scare many Supercoaches off.

If he can get near his best he'll prove a very profitable cash cow option.

  • 13 Sam Flanders (MID/FWD) - $162,300

The ready-made midfield/forward was tipped to go higher than pick 11 so the Suns will be very happy with Flanders.

The talented small forward may be the most-owned player come round one and with good reason.

Didn't play a game through injury last season so comes in at a bargain price. If the former number three pick hits his stride, he should prove a very safe selection.
