Sergio Ramos © Supplied by Sports.fr Sergio Ramos After two defeats in a row, Real Madrid regained a taste for victory this Saturday by emerging victorious in the Clasico against Barcelona at Camp Nou (1-3 ). Real Madrid was in crisis before the Clasico this Saturday in Barcelona counting for the 7th day of La Liga. Last Saturday the Merengues had conceded a home defeat as surprising as it was destabilizing against the promoted Cadiz (0-1). This resulted in a further disappointment in the Champions League on Wednesday against Shakhtar Donetsk (2-3) setting the White House on fire. And so automatically, throwing coach Zinedine Zidane to the edge of the precipice. Against Barça, the French technician recovered his captain Sergio Ramos in central defense and revived Karim Benzema in attack. Good pick. With a splendid opening, "KB9" made Federico Valverde shine for a premature opening score (0-1, 5th). Three minutes later, Ansu Fati equalizes with a flat foot at close range (1-1, 8th). And this is how to launch a Clasico that everyone saw on the downside due to the disappointing forms of the two greats of Spain. For the record, Ansu Fati made a little more history by becoming the youngest scorer of the Clasicos at 17 years and 358 days. He erases Raul tablets. A new controversy! Paced and intense, this meeting remained frozen in large part because (or thanks) to the goalkeepers, decisive in particular against Karim Benzema and Lionel Messi during the same minute (25th). The match finally settled in the second half on a play that will probably cause a lot of ink to flow ... A penalty claimed and generously awarded to Sergio Ramos. The Madrid captain was responsible for transforming the sentence to tip the scales on the Real side (1-2, 63rd). His 100th achievement under the merengue tunic! Unable to turn the tide, the Blaugranas bowed in the final moments. The 2018 Ballon d'Or, Luka Modric delivering the knockout blow, playing against several opponents in the area (1-3, 90th). Sick, criticized, the King of Spain reacted as a champion at the best of times and regaining his supremacy at the top of La Liga. Real has relieved itself of its crisis in Catalonia where it will agitate Barça which has not won for three matches! Ronald Koeman's men occupy a 10th place unworthy of this institution.

NBA star Andrew Bogut faces backlash over $5million mansion plans .
Neighbours of NBA champion Andrew Bogut (pictured) are furious at his plans to rip out dozens of trees to make way for his $5million mega-mansion. The 35-year-old, who retired from the Sydney Kings in May, is seeking to build his new home on two blocks of land next to the beach in the affluent bayside suburb of Beaumaris in southeast Melbourne. But some of Bogut's neighbours and the Beaumaris Conservation Society have opposed the plans because they involve destroying a celebrated garden designed by the property's former owner, Joan McCrae.
