Issac Hardman doesn't know why his beef with Tej Singh and his coach Gerry Murphy started.

But he promises to end it this Thursday night.

Hardman, a 24-year-old former MMA star, says Murphy has spent the better part of a year calling him out on social media.

Their back and forth has resulted in an intriguing fight between the 7-0 Hardman and the 16-4-3 Singh for the Australian middleweight title on the undercard to Justis Huni's bout with Arsene Fosso in Brisbane.

"Tej is a good fella and he's tough, but his coach gets him into a bit of hot water," Hardman told Sporting News.

Arnab Goswami: India's most loved and loathed TV anchor

Arnab Goswami: India's most loved and loathed TV anchor The star presenter is making Indian TV news louder and more aggressive than ever before. The tone is often polarising, tapping into India's religious fault lines. In April, for instance, he falsely accused a Muslim group Tablighi Jamaat for violating lockdown orders, and called on India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi to "lock up their leadership".In the early days of the pandemic, the group's gathering in Delhi was linked to at least a 1,000 covid cases across the country.

Subbu’s Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh starrer, Solo Brathuke So Better, has a release date. The filmmakers announced that SBSB will hit screens come December instead of hitting OTT like everyone speculated. Sai Dharam Tej revealed that the film will hit screens during Christmas to be specific.

"He's always the first one to say something smart to me or discredit my achievements and say I'm a nobody and all this rubbish.

"He always the first one to pipe up with something smart."

Coming off a highlight reel first round knockout win over Jamie Weetch on the Horn-Tszyu undercard in August, Hardman is keen to keep the momentum rolling.

And that spells bad news for Singh and Murphy.

"I think he thought I wouldn't take the fight - he might be thinking we bit off more than he can chew," Hardman said.

"I always said I'd take the fight, and I'm going to smash his head in.

"It's going to be satisfying because Gerry will be sitting in the corner and I'm gonna let him know. You can't discredit that achievement, because that's your boy and I just pasted him.

"Gerry's just a bitter old man - he has to discredit other people to make himself feel better. I can't wait to smash Tej then smile and nod at Gerry."

A rugged and experienced boxer, Singh most recently fought to a majority decision win over Reynold Quinlan on the Horn-Zerafa II undercard last December.

Unlike Murphy, Hardman has nothing bad to say about the 34-year-old Singh.

"He's got a good reputation here in Australian boxing and he deserves it - he's a warrior and a grinder," Hardman said.

"I'm not discrediting everything he's done and his achievements. He's been the Australian champion and no one seems to want to fight him.

"I don't think that's because of skills, I think that's because he makes a really ugly, awkward fight. He's a real spoiler.

"But, it's a necessary fight for me to move forward."

In addition to the Australian title, Hardman hopes a win over Singh will propel him into bigger and better fights overseas.

"When I beat him, when I knock him unconscious, there's no one else here," he said.

"There's two more big dogs left in the yard and that's me and Tej.

"I want to clean up the yard, and I want to move on to bigger and better things and this is going to catapult me.

"Now it's about building a brand here in Australia so I've got the whole country following me, then go over to the US.

"I want to be world ranked within the two years and announcing my name on the world stage."
