Former Formula 1 driver Adrian Campos died unexpectedly on Wednesday at the age of 60. This was announced by the Campos Racing team he founded on Thursday morning. According to the racing team, Campos succumbed to a sudden cardiovascular disease.

Campos was much more successful as team boss of his racing team founded in 1997, which served as a stepping stone for numerous talents towards Formula 1.
