Chelsea 'now have very good cards' in Dayot Upamecano race

The former PSG manager is set to take over at Stamford Bridge this week following the sacking of Frank Lampard on Monday. And his presence in the dugout could help The Blues acquire the 22-year-old, one of the most coveted centre-backs in Europe, according to Bild.
Upamecano's performances for current club RB Leipzig have made him one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe.
The 22-year-old was a regular for Julian Nagelsmann's side last season as they reached the Champions League semi-finals and finished third in the Bundesliga.
The Frenchman has played in all but one of Leipzig's German league matches this season as Nagelsmann's men currently lie second in the table, seven points behind leaders Bayern.

Rummenigge toldearlier this month: 'We will of course deal with it (a deal for Upamecano), not only with this player, but in principle, on the positions where we want to do and have to do something.'
