Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham could be on his way out of the club with the 23-year-old not open to the idea of negotiating a new deal, according to reports.

The England international made his first-team breakthrough at the Blues last season under Frank Lampard and continued to play an important role for him before the former Chelsea midfielder was sacked.

However Abraham's game time has been limited following the arrival of Thomas Tuchel and he's not looking to get the ball rolling on a new contract at the club, according to The Athletic.

The report claims that Abraham is not interested in extending his deal beyond 2023 while Chelsea pursue Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Chelsea 'among several top clubs interested in Bayern Munich's Sule'

Chelsea 'among several top clubs interested in Bayern Munich's Sule' Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to bring about a defensive overhaul in the summer transfer window after joining the club last month following the sacking of Frank Lampard. Germany international Sule has been one of the names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the club's search for a commanding centre back.

Haaland's agent Mino Raiola revealed on Tuesday that only four Premier League clubs can sign the 20-year-old. Given the Blues' financial clout they are likely to be one of those top-flight sides.

Chelsea only recently splashed out £53million on a new No 9 in Timo Werner but the Germany international has struggled for form in his debut season in England. The 24-year-old has just two goals in his last 22 matches.

Abraham has made just five appearances under Tuchel, completing the full 90 minutes just once, and was replaced at half-time in their 1-1 draw at Southampton last weekend.
