The decision was made by Ingleton to move on from his current position to allow others the opportunity to lead Victoria down a different path.

Cricket Victoria confirmed that the decision has been in the works since the start of the year.

It's been a disappointing season across the board for Victoria across the various domestic cricket competitions.

Cricket Victoria has appointed Nick Cummins as Interim CEO.

Cummins is currently the General Manager of BBL, Commercial and Marketing at Cricket Victoria and will be in charge while the organisation undertakes an "extensive recruitment process" to find Ingelton's replacement.
