The 20-year-old made his debut last season as a five-eighth, but has found a new home in the second-row this year after filling in for a lengthy injury list at the Sea Eagles.

Schuster is regarded as one of the best young talents in rugby league, and despite only playing eight games to date, is already cementing himself as an elite first grader.

He expressed his excitement to be able to stay with the club and continue to rub shoulders with players he looked up to in his formative years.
