Jadon Sancho publicly refuse to commit his future to Borussia Dortmund this weekend after being asked where he will be playing his football next season.

Sancho is back in red hot form for the German side, who are desperately trying to tie down Champions League qualification in the final weeks of the campaign.

On Saturday Sancho scored twice, including the match winner, as Dortmund defeated rivals RB Leipzig 3-2 to keep their top four hopes alive and the youngster faced questions in the immediate aftermath regarding his next move.

Speaking to reporters at the final whistle, the 21-year-old remained coy when quizzed about a return to English football but stressed he was happy with his current situation.

Now, it is understood that Liverpool have joined the race for the youngster with Dortmund open to selling for a lesser fee this summer.

As reported by Sportsmail, Sancho has a 'gentleman's agreement' with his club and is available for the £78million mark when the summer window opens.

Michael Zorc, Dortmund's sporting director, revealed that 'certain conditions' would see Sancho move on and the England international has a number of suitors.

Along with United and Liverpool, Chelsea are also reported to have posted an interest in Sancho.

Dortmund however are adamant that any offer for Sancho must be lodged in good time, allowing the selling club to buy a replacement.

United are known to be in the market for a right-sided attacker this summer, though are also heavily linked with Sancho's Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland.

With Edinson Cavani's deal winding to an end at Old Trafford and his future still unclear, United have been tipped to go big in the market for a bonafide striker, with Haaland and Tottenham's disillusioned centre forward Harry Kane at the top of Solskjaer's list.

Liverpool, likewise, are in need to attacking reinforcements though could be hampered with their spending power should a top four finish not be achieved.

Saturday night's victory over Southampton saw Jurgen Klopp's team climb to within six points of fourth placed Leicester City, with a game in hand.
