Two volunteers said they had suffered a headache or fatigue after the jabs, but these symptoms are also triggered by other vaccines already approved for use in the UK. How does the vaccine work? The vaccine is the only one being developed in Europe to use an inactivated whole Covid virus to trigger an immune response . When it is injected the body attacks the spike proteins on the virus - which it uses to invade cells - by making antibodies that can bind to them, stopping an infection from happening.

The dad-of-two is a trained first aider and tended injuries on her face, head, neck, chest and legs to stem the blood flow while they waited for emergency services to arrive. He said Ms Jones was covered in multiple stab wounds, each about 2cm to 2.5cm wide, but amazingly the knife had bounced off her chest bones, saving her life. Just a few millimetres deeper or to the side and the savage stab wounds could have been fatal, he said. Mr Ordgaard said she told him she had spotted someone walking past her on the lonely beach several minutes before the alleged attack.

The decision ultimately cost Schroder over $100 million with talk shows, social media, players and former players making light of his costly miscue with endless memes poking fun at his monumental loss.

A large home with piles of black bags outside has been mocked by a neighbour with a sign claiming it is an 'art installation' for a local festival. A police officer fired after criticizing NBA social justice warrior LeBron James has claimed on national television that he is a victim of 'cancel culture', despite the mayor of his Idaho city insisting his removal was justified. In one video aimed at James, there was a nod to the Lakers star ' s criticism of a police officer who shot dead a black female teenager in Columbus, the capital of his home state Ohio, in April. James, who comes from Akron, went on Twitter at the time and caused outrage by uploading a photo of the officer with a caption that read "YOU'RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY" alongside an hourglass emoji.

According to multiple reports there were several teams interested in Schroder, despite a rough playoffs run.

However, he was viewed as a back-up option if teams couldn't secure other players such as Kyle Lowry and Kemba Walker, who signed deals with Miami and New York respectively.

Schroder averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43.7 per cent from the field for the Lakers last season.

He's viewed as a solid two-way player and will add another dimension on the defensive end alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in Boston.

Schroder will split point guard duties with Marcus Smart, and will be looking for a huge bounce back year in a bid to make the money back next offseason as a free agent.
