Thierry Henry gave a hilarious response when asked about his old rivals Tottenham as he pretended to not know who they are.

The Arsenal legend, who spent over eight successful years in north London, is very familiar with the intense rivalry between the two clubs.

Henry never lost to Spurs during his time at the Gunners and even famously sealed the Premier League title at White Hart Lane during the club's invincible season in 2004.

The Frenchman's statue outside the Emirates even depicts his famous celebration after scoring a sensational goal against Spurs at Highbury in 2002.

Last weekend, he was working for Amazon Prime Video's French coverage after Rennes had lost 2-0 to Reims ahead of their Europa Conference League match with Spurs.

A fellow guest on Amazon Prime said: 'It’s the second consecutive loss for Rennes. It’s something they have to be worried about, furthermore on Thursday they are facing Tottenham in the Europa League at Roahzon Parc.'

The former Arsenal legend responded: ‘Sorry, who? I don’t know them.’

The two-time Premier league champion last played in the league during his loan spell at Arsenal in 2012, yet his allegiances to the club are clearly as strong as they have ever been.

Since his retirement in 2014, Henry has largely spent his time working as pundit across English and French television.

Henry's comments caused widespread laughter around the studio while the Frenchman cheekily smiled down the camera lens.

Tottenham were ultimately unable to defeat Rennes on Thursday night as they had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
