Football commentator Rod Law walked away from the hit Melbourne-based podcast You Cannot Be Serious 12 days ago, citing editorial differences as the reason. Sydney breakfast radio presenter Ben Fordham is an avid fan of the show and tried to act as a mediator between Law and high profile podcast hosts, former AFL legends Sam Newman and Don Scott.Fordham said Law brings a 'unique element' to the show and often 'pulls them into line'.

Mohamed Salah would like to spend the rest of his career at Liverpool, but says his future "depends on the club".The club have agreed a raft of new deals with senior players this year but Salah, who has under two years left on his contract, is one whose longer-term future is yet to be tied down.
