The French President Emmanuel Macron says Tuesday the support of France and the EU to the sanctions taken by the West African leaders two days earlier against the junta in power in Mali .

"We support" the diplomatic and economic measures taken by the Economic Community of West African States (Cédéao) and the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) against Mali, Told the head of state during a press conference with the President of the European Council Charles Michel at the Elysee.
