The Pakistan Cricket Board have appointed former ICC Chief Finance Officer Faisal Hasnain as the new PCB CEO.
Hasnain will assume the role at the outset of 2022, replacing former CEO Wasim Khan who resigned the post with four months left on his contract.
This appointment marks the first major hire sincetook over as chairman of the PCB.
“I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Faisal Hasnain as the PCB’s Chief Executive and welcome him to Pakistan cricket family,” Raja said in a statement.
“Faisal is a familiar figure in world cricket and is highly regarded, respected and trusted for his excellence in corporate governance, financial management and commercial acumen.

Karachi-born Hasnain is something of a man of the world, having attained his qualifications as a chartered accountant in the United Kingdom, while his last cricketing appointment came as Managing Director of Zimbabwe Cricket.
