Palestinian lynch mobs have murdered Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel.[87][88][89] According to a Human Rights Watch report from 2001 "Haiti earthquake: UN says worst disaster ever dealt with".

The Gold Coast Suns are reportedly preparing to make a huge offer to star forward Tom Lynch that could make him one of the AFL’s highest paid players.

Lynch is coming off contract at the end of the year and it’s said the Suns are willing to outlay a long-term big-money deal that could dwarf the contract the Sydney Swans offered Lance Franklin.

Herald Sun reports that Collingwood, Hawthorn and Richmond are all in the mix to try and lure the 25-year-old from the Sunshine Coast and the Suns are prepared to go all out with a contract worth $1.5 million per year over seven seasons to keep him on the Gold Coast.

While its understood no official offer has been made, the Suns appear to be in good financial shape with only a few other players coming off contract.

La Canfora also noted that the Seahawks are aware Lynch may retire after 2015. This report was poo-pooed by Lynch ' s agent, Doug Hendrickson, who tweeted that "contrary to reports , there is no Marshawn Lynch deal ."

Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms on a deal , according to Mike Silver. While Lynch and his hometown team have agreed to terms, the Seattle Seahawks still hold his rights for now, though that won't be the case for long.

“That’s like what it’s going to take (to keep Lynch), whether he goes or stays,” Herald Sun’s Jon Ralph told AFL Tonight.

“It took Richmond a year to realise that they needed to offer (Dustin Martin) seven years, instead of four or five years at $800,000. But it’s hard to see how Tom Lynch isn’t footy’s second $10 million man.”

“That could be seven years at $1.3 million to $1.5 million — and then the AFL puts in over the top with an ambassadorship.”

Lynch’s former Suns teammate Gary Ablett told The Age he hopes Lynch stays up north.

“You would hope (Lynch stays). But again, it comes back to when you’re winning football games it makes things a lot easier around a football club because I think when you’re not winning games you start to question the way you’re going about things,” Ablett told The Age.

“And it’s not that you’re necessarily going about things the wrong way, it just might mean that you need to make a few small changes here and there.”

Dennis Cherry beat cancer and aches from arthritis, but he punches above his weight .
At 72, Brisbane man Denis Cherry is Australia's oldest amateur boxer, but he admits the rigorous sport is starting to take a toll on his body. "Very sore, arthritis and that. I dread the day I have to give it up, one day it'll come — in another 20 years or so," he said.
