Alex De Minaur has completed the Group B hattrick with a win over Taylor Fritz at the ATP Next Gen finals.

De Minaur was already assured of cruising through to the final four but put an exclamation mark on his credentials with a 4-3 (8), 4-1, 4-2 win, after beating Andrey Rublev on Thursday and Italy’s Liam Caruana on Wednsday.

The four semi-final positions are almost set for the 21-and-under tournament, with undefeated De Minaur, the youngest player in the draw, and 2017 finalist Andrey Rublev going through from Group B. In Group A, Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas is through after winning his three games.
