The move also addresses concerns related to national security, which include weapons of mass destruction and other military activities, said the Commerce Department.

This blacklisting is the latest measure taken by the government of Donald Trump against entities linked to the Chinese military sector and it aims to punish Beijing for the repression of minorities, in Xinjiang in particular.
