  Twitter Testing Encrypted Direct Messages A code hidden inside the Twitter APK shows that the app might get an end-to-end encryption feature for sending and receiving direct messages.The encrypted direct messages feature for Twitter was first discovered by Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane). Wong spotted the feature hidden within the Android application package (APK). APKs typically contain codes for features that have yet to launch, or are currently being tested before they are made available to everyone. A Twitter spokesperson declined to comment on the recent discovery, according to TechCrunch.

YouTube TV and Google Home have worked together to give you voice control over your live TV since last October. Now, the service is starting to roll out and test a voice-powered remote feature in its mobile app. We've seen the feature ourselves, so can confirm that it's happening for some folks, at least.

First spotted by Android Police, the feature does not require an app update, but is only showing up to some users.

Voice remote will show up as a floating button in the app; you can issue voice commands like "go back to my last channel" or "Play NBC," says the site. Apparently, you can also skip around in recorded shows and control the volume with your voice. Android Police notes that Google's already put up a support page, so it will likely show up for more people in time.
