WorldDNA testing helps police confirm Bundy killed missing teen
Cold case breakthrough: Manslaughter charge in 1992 missing teen case
Police have charged a man with the manslaughter of 14-year-old Radina Djukich, who went missing in Perth in 1992. Acting Deputy WA Police Commissioner Gary Budge announced the breakthrough in the case on 6PR Radio on Thursday morning. Police will allege the 69-year-old man injected the teenager with a substance which caused her death. The man has been charged with manslaughter and will face court on Friday. It was reported at the time that Radina left the address she was staying at in North Beach about 7pm on the evening of May 15, 1992.
Authorities say DNA testing helped them confirm notorious serial killer Ted Bundy also murdered a northern Utah teen.
Man killed, another injured in Newcastle stabbing
A 51-year-old man has been killed and a 23-year-old man is seriously injured after a stabbing in Newcastle.
KSL-TVBountiful Police Sgt. Shane Alexander announced Monday that investigators retrieved a human patella bone, or kneecap, three and a half years ago that authorities had given to the family of Debra Kent.
Alexander says DNA testing on the bone confirmed it belonged to Kent.
Alexander says the 17-year-old Kent was with her parents at a Viewmont High School play in November 1974, when she left during intermission to pick up her brother at an ice skating rink.
Alexander says she left and never returned.
Alexander says Bundy, 36 hours before his 1989 execution, confessed to killing Kent and other young women and told police where he left Kent's body.
