As the eagle swooped right at him, Biro captured a perfectly symmetrical reflection of the bird in the water below. "I definitely rank it as my top image and did not know when I shot it how it had turned out This is the photo Biro took of the eagle right after he landed. It sure looks like Bruce was glaring.

When he got there, Biro was excited to see the water was fairly calm, presenting an opportunity for a decent reflection shot.

"There was a large rock right at the water's edge where I laid down beside and rested my upper body on trying to get as low as possible," Biro explained to USA Today/For The Win Outdoors. "I love getting reflections from a low vantage point and hoped to get a couple decent pics of Bruce.

"He flew across the pond several times and was not happy where I was, which turned out good for me as he was staring right at me quite a bit. He also was flying close enough to my head for me to feel the breeze from his wings, but I was determined to keep shooting.

"I have many wonderful images from the visit but loved the symmetry of this one in particular. And the way he is staring right through me and looking mean and powerful just blew me away."

"It's funny, when I first saw the [symmetrical] image when cropped, I was only pleasantly surprised but then saw how good it really looked so decided to post it. I'm humbled and overwhelmed by the response so far."
