A high fashion brand seems to have taken inspiration from a lowly criminal in their latest collection.
Last week, Alessandro Michele's Gucci Cruise 2020 wardrobe was paraded in Rome's hilltop Capitoline Museum and it bore a striking resemblance to 'DEVAST8' - a New Zealand man with his moniker tattooed across his mouth.

'I'm going to have a bit of fun with it': Face-tattooed fugitive continues to taunt police by phoning Studio 10 to explain why he's ignoring a warrant out for his arrest
Ethan Bramble, 23, has tattoos to 98 per cent of his body including his eyeballs. Victorian Police issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday after he failed to appear in court. He told Studio 10 rumours he was wanted on assault charges were false and confessed he was accused of criminal damage.
DEVAST8 went viral in 2017 when he complained to media in his home country that he couldn't find work work because of the tattoo he got while drunk in jail.
The man's real name is Mark Cropp and he was most recently convicted of assaulting and threatening a pregnant woman, according to the New Zealand Herald.
Cropp, 21, also appeared in court in February in the district of Papakura, New Zealand with a bumbag with the word Devast8 penned in block letters on the waist strap.
A week after admitting his assault on a pregnant woman, he pleaded guilty in another court to charges of presenting a firearm during a fight. The court heard the firearm was an imitation.
