The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said in a statement they are “deeply saddened” by the events.

“This tragedy is a painful reminder that people continue to take perilous journeys to reach the Greek Aegean islands,” Philippe Leclerc, UNHCR Representative in Greece said in a statement. “Redoubled efforts are needed to ensure safe and legal ways to reach Europe, so people stop risking their lives in the hands of ruthless traffickers and smugglers.”

In 2019 alone, nearly 10,700 refugees and migrants have reached Greece by sea. While attempting the journey, 39 people have died this year, UNHCR said.

'Don't go swimming': Terrifying moment a four-metre great white shark stalks a fishing boat off the coast of Australia.
The terrifying moment a monster Great White Shark appears next to a fishing boat off the Queensland coast has been captured on video. In the footage, the silhouette of the shark - believed to be as big as four-metres long - can be seen near the surface of the water alongside the boat. The size of the shark dwarfs the small white fishing vessel before it swims off into the ocean. 'Oh my god. It's at least three metres easy,' says one of the men aboard the boat as he looks over into the water awe-struck.
