Stake Hill shooting leaves one man dead and another charged by WA Police with murder An alleged gunman has been charged with murder after another man was shot dead at a property in Mandurah, south of Perth. WA Police said a 61-year-old man died after he was shot about 5:00pm yesterday at the semi-rural property in the suburb of Stake Hill. Mr Myers, 49, from the Wellington suburb of Karori, failed to return from the Northern Crossing on 1 June.

His brother-in-law Duncan Styles confirmed the body was that of Mr Myers.

He said the family felt gutted over the news.

Sergeant Tony Matheson sad Mr Myers died from a fall that has happened suddenly and probably occurred last Thursday.
