1. FC Magdeburg has secured the services of defensive player Thore Jacobsen from SV Werder Bremen for another season on loan.
"Thore got a lot of playing time in Magdeburg last year and took a good step in his development. We now hope that he can continue this positive development," said Werder's football manager Frank Baumann about the player's renewed loan from the Weser to the Elbe .

Jacobsen, who came to Bremen from the Hamburger SV youth team in 2015, made 32 appearances in the 3rd division in Magdeburg last season. He scored one goal and prepared three more. Jacobsen scored the goal on the penultimate matchday to make it 1-0 in a 2-0 win in Ingolstadt, which meant that FCM's relegation was perfect.
