Justice Ginsburg died believing that Trump is an “aberration.” Her death ensures that he won’t be. Ginsburg’s death places her entire legacy in dangerAnd yet her death means that the age of Trump will almost certainly be our new normal. With Ginsburg on the Supreme Court, the power to shape our Constitution was split between four liberals, four archconservatives, and Chief Justice John Roberts — a conservative whose respect for institutions and for procedural regularity sometimes tempered his fellow conservatives’ tendencies.

Twitter. TEXT. Reddit. WhatsApp. LOS ANGELES — A car drove through a crowd of BLM protesters and was chased down and attacked by people in another vehicle. The driver was able to escape but was detained by police. The incident happened in Hollywood at around 9:30pm Thursday night.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said that Tatiana Turner, 40, of Long Beach, California, was arrested in connection to the violence which broke out at the planned protest by a group called "Caravan for Justice" on Saturday in Yorba Linda, California

The protest, which was organized prior to the announcement that only one Louisville police officer would face charges following the shooting at Taylor's home but not for her death, was met with counter protests from people waving American flags and pro-Trump signs, reported FOX LA.

At around 3 p.m., police said a vehicle in the parking lot of the Yorba Linda Public Library at 18181 Imperial Highway struck at least two individuals before driving away.

Videos on social media shows a white sedan driving into a crowd of people, which included people waving Trump flags. One man and one woman were injured after being struck with the vehicle.

"The man suffered two broken legs and the woman had major injuries," Sgt. Dennis Breckner, of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, told FOX LA. "Both were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.''

The driver, later identified as Turner, was believed to be part of the Caravan for Justice group.

She was arrested a short distance away from the incident on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

"The Orange County Sheriff's Department requested mutual aid, and multiple agencies from across Orange County responded immediately to assist," the department said in a statement. "We'd like to thank the outside agencies who responded."

The incident was the third time that a vehicle had driven into protesters in California in the space of a week.

Elsewhere, a man was arrested on suspicion of failure to obey the dispersal order after police declared an unlawful assembly when the two opposing groups physically clashed.

Police said they received reports of altercations between the two groups around 30 minutes after the protest started, inducing one individual who was pepper sprayed by another protester.

Police then declared the crowd of around 250 people as unlawful due to the fighting and reports of people in the crowd having weapons.

Jason Mancuso, 46, of Anaheim, was then arrested for failure to obey the dispersal order.

There have been widespread protests from people demanding justice for Taylor following her death on March 13.

Taylor, 26-year-old Black woman, was shot several times by the Louisville Metro Police Department when officers executed a no-knock search warrant at her home during a drugs investigation.

Last week, several months after her death, it was announced that former officer Brett Hankison will be indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree after several shots he fired inside Taylor's home traveled through the walls of her neighbors apartment.
