national consultations . And the Afghans, rst and foremost, must be praised for having had the courage to speak out, and for not giving up hope for a better future, one which puts an end to human rights violations and impunity. They can also trigger important debates in the community–.

The political consultations launched three weeks ago by Félix Tshisekedi ended on Wednesday 25 November. If at the beginning, these consultations were very political, the last days have been marked by a greater openness, but always without the FCC of Joseph Kabila which is keen to respect the coalition agreement that the current president signed with his predecessor . On the opposition side, Jean-Pierre Bemba and Moïse Katumbi, responded to the call of the Head of State.

The two figures of the Lamuka platform did not make big statements after the meeting with Felix Tshisekedi.

Jean-Pierre Bemba is relaunching his political party after years in prison and Moïse Katumbi has barely obtained the approval of his party. For their part, Martin Fayulu and Adolphe Muzito were opposed to these meetings, preferring broader discussions involving all stakeholders.

On the side of Joseph Kabila's FCC, certain personalities were consulted by Félix Tshisekedi, including the governors and presidents of the provincial assemblies.

Rallying FCC members and what the current head of state calls the sacred union of the nation to his cause has not been an easy exercise. Some of Joseph Kabila’s relatives even accused Félix Tshisekedi’s entourage of bribery, which the presidential party has always rejected.

Despite the end of consultations, several sources from the FCC and Cach believe that everything is not yet folded.
