Tony Hsieh is an American internet entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is the CEO of the online shoe and clothing shop Zappos .com. Culture is overlooked in it's role it has in a company. Tony Believes that it should actually be the number one thing a company focuses on.

He was apparently visiting his family in Connecticut at the time. Hsieh led the online shoe and clothing retailer Zappos, which he sold to Amazon for $US1.2 billion. After 20 years with the company, he recently retired. Zappos CEO, Kedar Deshpande, wrote in a statement Friday."The world has lost a tremendous visionary and an incredible human being," Deshpande wrote. "We recognise that not only have we lost our inspiring former leader, but many of you have also lost a mentor and a friend."
