I made over 80 recipes from celebrity chefs in 2020, and there are 15 I'll be making long into 2021. Duff Goldman's recipe for chocolate-chip cookies is my favourite from 2020. Emeril Lagasse's scrambled-eggs recipe, Carla Hall's cornbread recipe, and Guy Fieri's biscuit recipe are all winners in my book. Ingredients for 4 people
Pears in syrup:4 fresh and ripe pears, peeled and cut in 2 1 liter of water 400g of sugar 1 lemon zest taken with the peeler 1 orange zest taken with the peeler 1 vanilla bean 1 star anise 1 cinnamon stick

After having feasted us during the holidays, Cyril Lignac plays extra time in "Tous en cuisine" (M6) and continues to accompany us behind the stove at the start of the year. Here is his recipe for the galette des Rois with almond.
250g of whole liquid cream 35% 25g of icing sugar 1 vanilla bean
Chocolate and almond sauce:8cl of milk 8cl of liquid cream 25g of sugar 100g of dark chocolate 30g of slivered and toasted almonds
In a saucepan, pour the water and sugar, mix to melt the sugar, add the lemon and orange zest then the spices . Bring this syrup to the boil, lower the heat and immerse the pears in it. Leave to cook for 15 minutes. Check the cooking of the pears, the tip of the small knife should enter easily. At the end of cooking, drain them using a spider and place them on a plate. Then slice them on your board. Keep the syrup and reduce it to ¾, until it is smooth. Reserve it aside.
In the very cold salad bowl, pour the cream with the sugar and the vanilla pulp and whip everything in whipped cream, pour the cream into the piping bag and set aside.

In a saucepan, boil the milk and cream with the sugar, pour over the chocolate, mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, set aside.
Place the sliced pears on the plates, coat with syrup to make them shine, pour a spoonful of chocolate sauce and a touch of whipped cream on the side, add a few slivered almonds.
