attack is the best defense

Nergal knows how to stage his project in a sensational way and has launched the “Ordo Blasfemia” campaign for this (see also the corresponding video below). With the money raised, the 43-year-old wants to finance “a viable legal challenge” in order to smash “the fictitious persecutions” against those artists who do not conform to the “ancient religious laws” of his home country. In the accompanying explanation of his project, Adam Darski explains:

“My name is Nergal and I am an artist from Poland. For more than a decade, I have been confronted with numerous attempts to permanently destroy my career on the basis of offending 'religious feelings'. It sounds absurd, and let me assure you: it is absurd. Many Polish artists, including myself, have been dragged into the courtrooms, at our own considerable expense, to defend ourselves against nonsensical blasphemy laws made by antediluvian politicians. Their intention is to censor anyone who does not conform to the archaic laws of our country. But now the time has come for Polish artists to fight back - join the Ordo Blasfemia. Help us achieve our goal so we can redistribute the money to other artists who face their own legal challenges. ”
