MILAN (Reuters) - European Industry Commissioner Thierry Breton urges European Union member states to rapidly deploy their COVID-19 vaccination campaigns to monitor the acceleration of dose production.
In an interview published Wednesday by the Italian daily Corriere della Sera, Thierry Breton recalls that the EU wants to achieve a production capacity of anti-COVID vaccines of two to three billion doses per year by the end of 2021.
