Australia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has fallen 1.9 per cent in seasonally adjusted terms in the September quarter of 2021.Despite the plunge, the fall is largely better than market expectations and covers the period where much of Australia was locked down as part of Delta-strain COVID-19 restrictions.

Paris (Reuters) - The growth of the German economy has been a little less strong than expected in the third quarter, show the detailed figures of the gross domestic product (GDP) Published Thursday by the Federal Statistical Office, which revised down its first estimate.
Germany's GDP increased by 1.7% compared to the second quarter, while a first estimate gave a growth of 1.8%.
annual growth growth in seasonal variations (CVS) is, however, consistent with the consensus and the first estimate, at 2.5% on July-September.
