The former commander-in-chief has been quietly meeting with several Democrats mulling a run for the White House in 2020, giving advice on how to campaign in the age of President Trump, according to multiple reports.Some Democrats have accused Obama of not doing enough to promote the party, but several people close to the ex-president told Politico he is in an all-hands-on-deck mode for 2020, resulting in at least 10 meetings at his Washington, D.C., office with potential presidential contenders.

a man wearing a suit and tie talking on a cell phone © Jefferson Siegel / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer is likely gearing up to cooperate with federal prosecutors, according to a report Wednesday.

The law firm representing Cohen — whose home, office and hotel room were raided in April — will not be working for the fixer going forward, ABC News reported.

Cohen was being repped by Stephen Ryan and Todd Harrison of McDermott, Will & Emery LLP.

It’s unclear if Cohen is looking for another firm or if he has decided to work with federal prosecutors. Following the raid, which seized over 3.7 million records, Cohen’s legal team argued that his attorneys should be given first look at the material.

Judge Kimbra Wood appointed former federal judge Barbara Jones to act as a “special master” to conduct an impartial review of the materials and to referee any disputes that could arise over attorney client privilege.

The President lashed out after the raid, comparing the raid to a break-in and tweeting that “Attorney-client privilege is dead!”

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is probing Cohen for a number of possible crimes, including potential bank fraud and campaign finance violations.
