During a visit to the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates and Germany signed this Sunday an agreement providing for the supply in 2022 and 2023 of liquefied gas and diesel in Berlin.

Qatar is one of the largest producers of liquefied natural gas in the world. Its exports have so far been mainly intended for Asian countries.
