Toyota Dealer Asks $100K For Supra Launch Edition Because Capitalism And there’s really nothing Toyota can do to stop it. Customers can't wait to get their hands on the new Toyota Supra – and for good reason. It's a fantastic road car, and tons of fun on the track (as we found out firsthand). But with the long-awaited Supra finally making its way to dealerships in the U.S., some are taking advantage of the hype. Jerry's Toyota in Baltimore, Maryland is asking $100,000 for a Supra Launch Edition. That's right, $100,000.

At long last the all-new 2020 Toyota Supra is here to revive a storied nameplate, and even if it’s a BMW underneath It’s also called the 2020 GR Supra in a news release, but it’s unclear if Toyota will really use the Gazoo Racing branding here in the U.S. ( Update: I checked with a Toyota rep, and yes

Almost eight months after being revealed (and after many more years of speculation and anticipation), the 2020 Toyota Supra is finally available to purchase in dealerships across the United States.

The first 1500 Supras to be sold to customers will be the Launch Edition model, which we've already said would be our pick of the litter. It's positioned at the top of the Supra lineup with a $56,180 starting price, and it gets special design touches including black wheels, red mirror caps, and an available red interior. If you were hoping to nab the very first one, though, you're out of luck. Supra number 1 was sold at auction in January for $2.1 million, benefiting the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

After waiting the 7 years the 2020 Toyota Supra is finally back. Was it worth the wait? From the combined efforts of Toyota & BMW under the hood is a

It's been nearly two-decades, but the Toyota Supra is back! The straight-six-powered sports car will arrive in dealer showrooms this summer.

Once those 1500 cars are all sold, lower-end versions of the Supra will become available. The Supra will come in both 3.0 and 3.0 Premium trims, with the base 3.0 priced at $50,920. Standard features include automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Stepping up to the $54,920 3.0 Premium nets items including a larger touchscreen, a head-up display, heated leather seats, and a better audio system. Both trims are available with a Driver Assist package that adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors.

2020 Toyota Supra Comes With Free Apple CarPlay For 4 Years.
After that, you might have to pay, or maybe not. There's a nice perk for 2020 Toyota Supra buyers because the automaker is giving them four years of Apple CarPlay functionality for free. This might seem odd because many automakers, including Toyota, have no annual fee for the smartphone pairing tech, but BMW charges $80 a year for the functionality. Since Toyota elected to give the new Supra a BMW-sourced infotainment system, it previously wasn't clear whether there would be a fee getting for Apple CarPlay.
