2019 Volkswagen Jetta Nets 7.8/5.9 L/100km City/Highway

2019 Volkswagen Jetta Nets 7.8/5.9 L/100km City/Highway Redesigned sedan arriving soonThe 2019 Volkswagen Jetta debuted earlier this year with bigger proportions and a new set of transmissions. Now, the automaker has revealed fuel economy information for the compact sedan, and it's a noticeable improvement from last year's model.

Volkswagen has released a design sketch of its new Touareg, which will have its world debut at the end of March in Beijing, the capital of the world’s strongest growing SUV market and VW’s largest individual market.

The third generation of Volkswagen’s flagship, is reportedly the company’s poster child for expressive design, innovative technology and dynamic handling, and according to the sketch, it looks to have a very close resemblance to the T-Prime GTE Concept introduced to years ago at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.

2019 Volkswagen Arteon revealed for North America

2019 Volkswagen Arteon revealed for North America Sharper than the CC, the Arteon will be available as a 2019 model. The only engines available for the Arteon anywhere are four-cylinder affairs, and the most powerful iteration of the 2.0 TSI is the sole option for American Arteons, offering 268 horsepower in American spec. An eight-speed automatic is standard on the Arteon, but it can be ordered with 4Motion all-wheel-drive if required.

The design was penned by a team lead by Klaus Bischoff, Head of Volkswagen Design. Although it’s hard to tell from a line sketch, the company claims the new Touareg’s appearance is unmistakably strong in character, and it is chock full of driving aids for “a maximum degree of safety and comfort.”

We can’t vouch for the innovative assistance systems, as the company didn’t release much information with the sketch, but we can discern a 2-box design that looks almost identical to the current model, with visible changes such as low-profile headlights that wrap around to the fenders. The grille looks to have the horizontal slats of current VW passenger cars, such as the new Jetta, and the front bumper seems to have large side openings that likely meant to provide added air to the engine and the brakes, while probably also housing fog lamps. Body add-ons look to include a high-mounted rear spoiler and lower-body cladding (sills and wheel well flares).

Volkwagen’s I.D. Crozz: The One We’ve Seen Will Not Be the First to Arrive

Volkwagen’s I.D. Crozz: The One We’ve Seen Will Not Be the First to Arrive Volkwagen’s I.D. Crozz: The One We’ve Seen Will Not Be the First to Arrive Volkswagen plans to kick off its much ballyhooed electrification strategy in the United States with the I.D. Crozz, the brand’s first dedicated EV. Now we’ve recently learned that the model will come in two body styles, and the version previewed by the concept car (pictured above) will not be the first one to arrive. 1/19 SLIDES © Manufacturer Volkwagen’s I.D. The dynamic handling is reportedly delivered by air suspension, roll stabilization and rear-wheel steering.

Inside, Volkswagen claims one of the largest digital cockpits in class, offering an innovative, connected infotainment environment.

We expect more information to be selectively released, leading up to the new Touareg’s debut on March 23, 2018.
