Lexus won't build the boat alone, and will instead rely on a partnership with Marquis-Larson: a world renowned boat manufacturer. The yacht is planned as a 65-foot sport fly-bridge cruiser with luxury staterooms below deck and space to entertain up to 15 guests.

Those are all the details Lexus revealed, but the production boat boasts 885 hp from a pair of 5.0L V8 engines borrowed from the 2018 Lexus LC 500 luxury coupe and optimized for marine use. That's enough power to propel the concept to nearly 80 km/h.

While you're cruising along listening to Toto's greatest hits, Lexus says you'll be able to stay connected thanks to smartphone integration through a platform that will also provide security and remote diagnostics.

Lexus says it will build the yacht through a partnership with Marquis-Larson, the Wisconsin-based boat builder that helped put together the single running example of the concept.

More specifications and pricing will be revealed closer to the boat's late-2019 on-sale date.
