1. It is the second home they were gifted from Queen Elizabeth.

Though the newly wed Duke and Duchess of Sussex were gifted the York Cottage for their wedding (thanks to Queen Elizabeth), we are now learning a second home is being tossed into the generous list of gifts from grandma. This one, though, is Adelaide Cottage, according to The Daily Mail and other sources, and it will likely be the one in which the royal couple builds their home (and maybe raise their first child).

5. The cottage was renovated in 2015.

After undergoing renovations a few years ago, the home is now said to have a main bedroom featuring "a coved ceiling with gilded dolphins and rope ornament from a 19th-century royal yacht," as well as a Graeco-Egyptian marble fireplace.

6. The property's privacy is key, so the couple doesn't have to worry about the paparazzi.

Adelaide Cottage is "set in its own enclosed gardens nestling into the hillside to the west," acting as the perfect retreat for the couple (just as it had for Queen Adelaide - but maybe a little more romantic?). Sources informed The Daily Mail that "There are [also] seven gated entrances and exits to Windsor Castle so the newlyweds could come and go without worrying about being photographed." Bye bye, paparazzi! Finally a taste of normalcy.
