It was another slam dunk for the Toronto Raptors who faced off against the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Championship last night. The Raptors finished 118-109 to a city of cheering fans who couldn't wait to celebrate the team's historic win. Toronto Raptors fans flocked to Scotiabank Arena in the early morning hours before the game started, and none of them were too eager to vacate the area after the Raptors clinched their Game 1 win.  6,000 of them were congregated in Jurassic Park, just west of the Scotiabank Arena.

Just before the Raptors won the game, a fan told CP24, "The energy here is crazy.  Everything is positive vibes, everyone is cheering, everyone is on the same page, we all have the same goal, it's just great to have the city together."

And the city was indeed together.  As Toronto rejoiced to the tune of the Raptor's victory, fans took to the streets to show their Raptors pride.  And as usual, the spectacle that ensued did not disappoint.

Jurassic Park erupted in excitement immediately following the win. Cheering could be heard from bars and in the streets of Toronto.

Fireworks were set off on Yonge Street to mark the big win.

People stood on top of cars at Yonge-Dundas square.

But it wasn't just in Toronto that fans partied hard over the Raptors' win.  In Mississauga, fans went crazy in the city's version of Jurassic Park.
