Boy, 16, seriously injured in shooting in northwest Toronto A sixteen-year-old boy is recovering in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot twice while sitting in a car in northwest Toronto early Sunday, police say. The shooting occurred on Tandridge Crescent, near Albion Road and Elmhurst Drive, in Etobicoke, according to Staff Sgt. Baheer Sarvanandan of Toronto police's 23 Division. Police and paramedics were called to the residential area at about 1:20 a.m. Sarvanandan said the boy was in a car with a friend when another car approached and a male in the other car began firing.

A 16 - year - old was arrested in connection to a shooting Saturday night in Lancaster that left another teenager seriously injured . VAUGHAN, Ont. — Police say they've arrested four teens in connection with a shooting at a library parking lot in Vaughan, Ont.

York Regional Police say the incident took place last Monday and left a 16-year-old boy with a minor gunshot wound.

They say the boy is a student at a nearby secondary school and was involved in an altercation in the parking lot when he was shot.

Police say they charged a 17-year-old boy last Wednesday with accessory after the fact to attempted murder and accessory after the fact to discharging a firearm with intent.

They say investigators have since arrested and charged three others — two 18-year-olds and one 19-year-old.

Those three all face multiple charges including attempted murder, discharging a firearm, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
