Surrey RCMP is asking for the public's help to locate two men wanted on Canada-wide warrants.

Shakiel Singh Basra and Amarpreet Singh Samra, both 25, are wanted on several charges including unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.

Police say the two men are believed to be in the Surrey area, and are linked to a black 2007 BMW X5 with B.C. licence plate JL8 17D.

Mounties say anyone who sees either man should not approach them, and should call police immediately.

Seventh person charged in Tiki Laverdiere homicide

Seventh person charged in Tiki Laverdiere homicide Police are searching for a seventh person charged in connection with the death of a 25-year-old Edmonton woman who went missing after travelling to the North Battleford area for a funeral this spring. 

A Vancouver man who was wanted on a Canada - wide warrant has been arrested by the RCMP in Surrey , the Vancouver Police announced on Thursday. The arrest took palce on Wednesday night, as Surrey RCMP stopped Brown and two other males for an “unrelated matter” just before 10 pm.

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public's help finding two men wanted on Canada - wide warrants . Mounties say Meaz Nour-Eldin and Nathan Barthlette are wanted on charges of kidnapping, unlawful confinement , aggravated assault, robbery and firearms offences.

Basra is described as South Asian and six feet tall, 119 pounds with a thin build and short black hair.

Samra is described as South Asian and six feet tall, 150 pounds with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the men's whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.

North Battleford woman is 8th person charged in relation to killing of Tiki Laverdiere.
Police have charged 55-year-old Mavis Takakanew with accessory after the fact to murder in relation to the death of Edmonton woman Tiki Laverdiere. Takaknew is the eighth person facing charges over the death of Laverdiere, 25, whose remains were found near North Battleford in July. Shayla Orthner, Danita Thomas, Nicole Cook, Soaring Eagle Whitstone and Nikita Cook are all charged with first-degree murder and improperly interfering with a human body in connection with Laverdiere's death. Brent Checkosis and Jesse Sangster, 23, are charged with accessory after the fact.
