Graham DeLaet making his return to PGA Tour Graham DeLaet will once again tee it up on the PGA Tour. The Saskatchewan native is in the field for the PGA Tour’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. DeLaet will play in a group with Americans Lucas Glover and Brendon Todd. The trip will tee off Thursday at 7 a.m. on Hole No. 1. It’s been nearly two years since DeLaet last played on the PGA Tour, when he pulled out of the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges in Korea on Oct. 23, 2017 due to an injured back. DeLaet’s recovery and comeback were delayed when a stem cell injection didn’t work as hoped. He later underwent microdiscectomy back surgery for a second time since he joined the Tour.

It’s happened again.

OC Transpo tweeted at the height of the rush hour Wednesday morning that LRT riders can expect delays due to a “door fault.”

The fault apparently occurred at Lyon Station.

The entire service was eventually shut, and replacement buses were sent out to ferry workers to downtown destinations.

At about 9:15 a.m. Transpo tweeted the problem had been fixed and Line 1 service was back, but delays would continue for an unspecified amount of time.

Lineups at the Tunney’s Pasture terminal station were once again crushing.

Transpo sent out replacement buses to alleviate the crush.

Riders were reporting delays of 20 minutes or more.

At 8:34 a.m. Transpo announced “system-wide” delays “beyond 15 minutes” and apologized. At 9 a.m., Transpo tweeted that work was continuing, and apologized again.

If the O-Train has been hell this week for Ottawa commuters, it’s OC Transpo’s red-vested ambassadors who’ve felt the flames. The red vests, assisted by a healthy deployment of OC Transpo special constables, have been left to make order out of chaos when trains are delayed or stopped along the line. “It’s frustrating. I mean what are we supposed to tell people?” said one of the ambassadors as he left the station after Wednesday morning’s commuting debacle. “I just keep saying, ‘I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.'” The worker, who agreed to speak to a reporter if his name wasn’t used, said he and his co-workers have heard their share of abuse from frustrated travellers.
