Regina police are investigating an armed robbery that involved a teenage victim, an 11-year-old accused armed with a machete, and an adult woman who had a gun.

Officers were sent shortly before 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving to the 3800 block of Dewdney Avenue for a report of an armed robbery of a 15-year-old girl. According to a news release issued Tuesday, police learned the victim had been told by a person known to her to go to a residence in the 1400 block of Queen Street. When she entered, a 19-year-old woman allegedly pointed a gun at the girl and demanded her personal belongings. An 11-year-old boy was also present and threatened the victim with a machete he had in his possession.
