'We've got to do better': Riders faced 9 hours of train delays last week Immobilized trains, faulty doors, computer failures and track switch issues: the list of problems with the city's train service seems to be getting longer. The City of Ottawa wasn't able to provide a list of all the service disruptions, but OC Transpo shared notices of incidents every weekday last week on its Twitter page. On Monday, unknown problems caused the shutdown of the Trillium Line for an hour in the morning and for about two hours in the afternoon. Riders were asked to use the bus.

Gatineau police continue to investigate after nine people suffered minor injuries when an OC Transpo bus ran over an open manhole Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. on Laurier Street at Eddy Street near the Jules Léger building of the Terrasses de la Chaudière complex.

The victims ranged in age from 20 to 60 years old. None of the injuries were considered serious, but all were taken to Hull Hospital as a precaution, said Gatineau police spokeswoman Agent Andrée East.

Police couldnot confirm whether the driver was among the injured.

The manhole cover was found nearby.

While the injuries were minor, she said the street was damaged by the force of the crash and repair work is continuing.

East said the investigation has so far all but ruled out vandalism.

“There are many questions as why the cover was removed and who removed it,” she said.

Opinion: NFL should suspend Browns' Myles Garrett for rest of season — at minimum — for helmet swing .
The Browns won on Thursday, but only in the most literal sense. Pro Bowl defensive end Myles Garrett changed everything with the swing of a helmet.CLEVELAND — Judging by the pall that had taken the air out of the their locker room, you would have assumed the Browns had just been eliminated from playoff contention.
