Peel police have ruled the death of a woman as a homicide after her body was found along with that of a man in a Brampton home.

The bodies of the woman, 27, and the man, 35, were discovered on Monday afternoon.

Police were called to a residence in the area of Eagleridge Drive and Bighorn Crescent, near Torbram Road and Bovaird Drive East, at 2:08 p.m. on Monday.

The circumstances surrounding the death of the man are being investigated, Peel police said in a news release on Monday.

"At this time, investigators are not seeking any further suspects and this investigation is ongoing," police added.
