  Police investigate arrow with attached meth shot into Abbotsford prison Police are investigating after an arrow attached to two packages of meth was shot into an Abbotsford prison. According to a news release from the Correctional Service of Canada, the attempted delivery took place sometime on Jan. 9 at Abbotsford’s Pacific Institution. Around 10:50 a.m. that day, staff found a carbon-fibre sporting arrow on the perimeter of the institution. Attached to the arrow were two packages of wha was determined to be nine grams of crystal amphetamine. The estimated value of the delivery is $7,200. Police were notified and an investigation will be launched.

Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a man who was found dead in a vehicle on Saturday.

The victim has yet to be identified. The body was found by a passerby in the parking lot of Marine Gateway Cineplex, near South West Marine Drive and Cambie Street just before 8:30 p.m. on January 18.

No arrests have been made, however VPD investigators do not believe there is a risk to the public.

VPD say this is the second homicide for the city in 2020. 

Police investigating after two bodies found in Edmonton .
Police are investigating after two bodies were found at opposite ends of the city.  On Sunday night around 10 p.m., police received a call for assistance from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services after a report of a fire near 126 Avenue and 73 Street, in the northeast neighbourhood of Balwin.
